Testimonials

  • I admired your passion and expertise in Pilates and for all the knowledge and teaching skills that you have been able to share with us. I am amazed how different by body feels and how my practice has improved and how I can do exercises so much better than before. The knowledge about all the muscles and course work was very interesting and I know so much more about my own body now. You are truly a great teacher. Thank you so much. (April 2009) | Barbara Manning | USA.
  • I am glad that I have come to Pilatestudio as I feel it is the best place to study Pilates. Or-Yah has a rare quality as a teacher. She is not only has a solid knowledge of the course material, her willingness to share information and valuable experiences made the course easier to understand. Teachers in the studio are also very helpful. I benefited a lot from their guidance (April 2009) | Angelina Gozali | Italy.
  • I feel blessed and honored to know you Or-Yah. I think you are wonderful and I so enjoyed my training with you, you are an excellent teacher with great focus and charisma. I am inspired now to read all my notes follow all my drawings and practice Pilates, I wove some fundamentals into my yoga class this morning! (April 2009) | Annie Milstead | Singapor.
  • Or-Yah's instruction is extremely clear, concise and straight to the point. She is well focused as a teacher and keeps the class moving at a steady pace when teaching. She is a wonderful teacher and a beautiful, kind and caring person. And a bit entertaining as well, which always helps! I had a lot of fun doing training with her and will absolutely train more with her when I get the chance. I would recommend her to anyone looking to train in Pilates because she obviously knows her stuff !.... (April 2009) | Suzanne Vian | Australia.
  • Very worth taking the course, even I had to take my days off from my full-time job. Or-Yah is very professional. Friends are nice. My Pilates skill is real improved. The more I know about the Pilates basis and anatomy, the more I can apply my knowledge to many useful exercises. I am inspired to teach, to strengthen and to heal others, at least via my Pilates skills. Thanks Or-yah and my friends. (October 2008) | Tum |Thailand.
  • I'm grateful for the extra energy you have given me to the initiation 101 and standing Pilates 201 course. I appreciate your excellent explanations. You were helping to clarity all exercises, I feel comfortable to ask when I don't understand. You are always open and give us a chance to discuss during the class. I'm so happy I have attended this course, it gave me a lot, mainly the ability and desire to learn more about Pilates, Thank you again for wonderful course. (February 2007) | Natt | Thailand.
  • I believe that The Pilatestudio is the best in Bangkok. It has everything you need in one place: the best equipment, great location, Instructors with a high level of education (including Or-Yah who has years of experience in the field) and one very important thing, the minute you walk in all you have to concentrate is in practicing Pilates the rest is taken care but the professional people who work there (from the receptionist to the Instructors). I first went to the studio as a client after trying different studios in the city. I learn there in a few weeks, things I haven't learn in a year of practice at other places. Because of that I decided to take the Instructor Course and it was one of my best decisions in life. Or-Yah is a great mentor willing to share all her knowledge and who gives 100% to her students. I only wish I was still in Bangkok to be able to go the Or-yah’s studio. (November 2007) | Uleima Hanson | Mexico.
  • I began seriously practicing Pilates after a second spine surgery. I had lost muscle strength in the right ankle and calf and was very stiff in the back, hips and hamstrings. I was also very fearful of moving any part of my spine and concerned that I would never again regain my former physical strength. Simply put I was miserable. After several months of taking private classes three times a week, the benefits were undeniable. My body was finally beginning to respond and I became stronger and suppler. Psychologically, the fear subsided but I still lacked confidence. Nevertheless, I knew Pilates was the right fit for me. I just wanted to acquire more knowledge about anatomy, the Pilates Method as well as challenge myself. That’s when I decided to enroll in the certification course at the Pilates Studio. I must say at first I did so only for myself. I didn’t really have any intention of becoming a teacher. But as the course went on and as deepened my understanding of the method (for example how to modify exercises for special populations or working with props) I realized that Pilates was a discipline that I must share with others. (February 2007) | Kristin and Julia | Estonia.
